When I was still in Manila, every time we go to my grandfather's office in the Central Bank of the Philippines, we would always pass by the Cultural Center of the Philippines. I was always amazed by the structure of its facade and the beautiful fountain, especially when the colorful lights are on at night. I never had the chance to go inside though. My family would say that the best singing and dancing groups in the Philippines would perform there.
When I moved to Iloilo, I started doing ballet. One time, I saw one of Ballet Philippines' performances shown on television. Ballet Philippines is one of the biggest and best ballet groups in the country. They were performing at CCP. The production was spectacular. From that moment, it had always been a dream of mine to perform there.
Last year, my ballet teacher told me that we will be performing at CCP in October. I was ecstatic. Yay, another item's gonna be checked on my bucketlist! It will really be a huge privelege to perform in the said place. It will be one thing I will cherish forever.
